MTN Nigeria finally kills BIS subscription.

It's no longer news that Etisalat and Glo has pushed aside Blackberry Internet Service back then in December 2016.
Now, their biggest brother has join the train, MTN Nigeria has sent a notification to their subscribers that it would discontinue it's BlackBerry

Internet service this month. MTN BIS will be be deleted from their list of products and serivices they offer on the 27th of January, 2017.
This simply implies that we should be waiting for Airtel Nigeria to press the same button very soon.
Please find below the SMS message sent out by MTN to subscribers:

" Dear customer, MTN Blackberry service will be decommissioned on 27/01/2017. Please upgrade to a smartphone and enjoy 100% bonus on any data bundle purchased."

Blackberry smartphones were once the talk of the town especially among Nigerians, absolutely due to affordable BlackBerry Internet Service tariffs.

Hmm!!! Nothing last forever except CHANGE.
