Tuface Backs out February 6th Planned Protest.

TUFACE
Innocent Idibia also known as Tuface, has backed out of the planned nationwide protest. He announced this just 24 hours before the President's resumption date.

Tuface via his Instagram page in a video clip, announced the cancellation of the protest, Official2baba on Saturday evening.

He said, “Dear Nigerians, after due consultations, it has become clear that the #OneVoice Nigerian protest scheduled to hold in Lagos and Abuja on Monday the 6 of February is under serious threat of hijack by interests not aligned with our ideals. The point and intent am making is not worth the life of any Nigerian.”

It is a fact motivated by the need to demand a better deal for the ordinary Nigerian."

“I therefore announce the cancellation of the planned protest. We will share further information in due course… I appreciate the massive support and I am convinced that our voices have been heard.

He concluded by saying “May God bless you all and may God bless Nigeria."

This protest was supposed to be against what he describe as unfavorable polices which has destroyed the country's economy and that brought hunger to the land.

Recall that this same protest was slated be held on 5th February but was later shifted to 6th February which is resumption day of President Buhari from 10-day leave.

It seems like Tuface has been getting serious pressures from the APC-led Federal Government to the plan. The Lagos state commissioner of Police threatened to arrest him if he goes on with the planned protest.
