President Muhammadu Buhari is expected back to the country tomorrow, Friday, March 10, 2017, according to the Presidency today.
A statement signed by Femi Adesina, who is the President's spokesman, stated that “President Buhari expresses appreciation to teeming Nigerians from across the country, and beyond, who had prayed fervently for him, and also sent their good wishes.”
Recall that the President left the country on January 19, 2017 for vacation, using the opportunity to have his routine medical check-ups.
This medical vacation was however extended from his original return date, February 6, 2017. The extension was allegedly based on doctors’ recommendation for further tests and rest.
