Early in the morning, on Wednesday, four female suicide bombers were reported to have detonated explosive devices at Usmanti along Muna Garage axis in Maiduguri, Borno State
The explosion killed two men while about 16 others were reported injured and administered with the first aid.
The spokesman of the National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA), North-East zone, Abdulkadir Ibrahim confirmed the removals of the bodies and the wounded who have been taken to a medical facility.
Abdulkadir stated: “Rescue and health workers had immediately moved to scene after the alert. The victims have been transported to the state specialist hospital and university teaching hospital in Maiduguri.”
However, it has been discovered that suicide bombers have now developed a new tactic of knocking at homes in the night and set off the explosive once the door is opened.
