The Governor of Ekiti state, Ayo Fayose has stormed the Federal High Court Abuja to show allegiance for pro-Biafra agitator leader, Nnamdi Kanu.

According to his Special Assistance on new media, Lere Olayinka, “the governor is currently seated inside Federal High Court 4 as the leader of the secessionist group Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) appears before Justice Nyako.”

This will be first time that Ayodele Fayose would publicly show his support for the crusade for the independent of the eastern part from the Nigerian unification as wanted by pro-Biafra groups.

The governor's act comes few hours following the arrest of Deji Adeyanju, who is a Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) supporter from central Nigeria but with southwestern roots, by police when staging a pro-Biafra protest.

Recall that Adeyanju, a popular critic of President Muhammadu Buhari's administration, was freed after about 6 hours in police custody on Monday, April 24, 2017.

The authority had only just let out Adeyanju who was detained on Friday, April 21 for staging an objection against the secret trial of the IPOB leader on Thursday, April 20.
