*Babachir claims he was unaware of his suspension

The suspended secretary to government of the federation (SGF) Babachir Lawal has claimed that he was unaware of his suspension and asked for the individual that wrote the statement announcing the news.
According to The Punch, Lawal who rushed into Vice-President Yemi Osinbajo’s office upon the announcement of his suspension on Wednesday, April 19, 2017 pretended as if he was not yet informed about the development.
While coming out of the meeting with Osinbajo, Lawal was quoted as telling State House reporters that he does not have any knowledge of his suspension and further demanded to know who wrote the statement announcing his suspension.
