National Aids Council of Zimbabwe claims unmarried women contributes to the spread of HIV/AIDS

Although the agency later clarified that statistics show that HIV new infections are high among ''never married women not unmarried women and the majority of the never married women are the adolescents." 

The initial report by Journalism Student Network quoted them as saying that "unmarried women are contributing to the spread of HIV in Zimbabwe.”
