The senior special assistant-media and publicity to acting president, Laolu Akande, has reacted to the proposed anti-government policies protest to be led by the popular Afro beat musician Innocent Idibia on February 6.
Addressing the Nation via Channels TV programme ‘Sunrise Daily’, Akande believed the people
have the right to protest and said that the presidency is not going to stop people from expressing their fundamental human rights.He said: ' ''Government is not in the business of countering any protest.''
''People have the right to protest. Whoever they want to support or oppose is their right.''
